Further, due June 22, is the band’s seventh studio recording and is the first to be released with a corresponding film – made with help from long-time visual collaborators Marcus Lyall and Adam Smith – to specifically match each track .

Smith – aka Flat Nose George – has been responsible for creating the visual backdrops for every Chemical Brothers show since 1994.

The iTunes Pass includes the standard version of the album in audio format, the eight accompanying videos, the bonus cut “Don’t Think,” an art image gallery and an extensive photo gallery showing how the visuals were created and shot.

The bundle also features an instant download of a continuous 51-minute audio/visual version of the project a reviewer for the London Evening Standard called a “sense-tingling way to present” Further.

Fans who buy the iTunes Pass will automatically receive a 20-minute “making of” featurette on June 15 that reveals how the groundbreaking visuals for the album were achieved, as well as one more bonus track, “Pourquoi,” on June 29.

Further will also be available as a deluxe edition CD/DVD (featuring all eight films and a behind-the-scenes video), a standard audio CD and a double vinyl LP.

Rolling Stone described the lead single from the album, “Swoon,” as “indecipherable vocals and an awesomely squishy, spangled, descending-tone sample that hits your guts like a cresting roller coaster.”

And finally, because the ultimate Chemical Brothers experience is a “bowel-shaking, laser-lit” live show according to Londinist.com, the duo will hit the road beginning June 19 at Spain’s Sonar Festival.

Additional stops on the schedule include Hungary, Serbia, Poland and four gigs in the States: August 28 in Oakland, Calif.; August 29 in Los Angeles; September 3 in Chicago and September 4 in New York City.

Here’s the video for “Swoon,” which the pair debut earlier this year during their live DJ sets.
