Kid Cudi Arrested In NYC
Even though Kid Cudi was arrested in New York City at the start of the weekend, the encounter with the long arm of the law did not prevent the rapper from making his Bonnaroo engagement.
Kudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance Friday night.
Cudi was arrested in a woman’s apartment after an argument where he reportedly ripped a door from its hinges and smashed a cell phone, according to the Boston Herald’s Inside Track blog.
Despite the arrest, Cudi, who also co-stars in HBO’s “How To Make It In America,” made it to his Saturday gig at Bonnaroo.
“I really wanted to be here tonight,” Cudi said after taking the stage.
