When Brooks announced his Vegas residency last October, he stated it wasn’t the money or fame that drew him to Sin City but the chance to spend as much time with his family as well as fans. This was made possible by the Wynn-provided private jet flying Brooks back to his Oklahoma home between show runs.

“When Steve Wynn approached me about playing … he didn’t throw money at me … he listened to my story,” Brooks said last fall. “He’s taken care of my children, he’s taken care of my wife. … My life is not going to change in the next five years except I’m going to get to play live music, which I’m excited about.”

Vegas audiences, rave reviews and not having to climb aboard the ol’ tour bus for the next stop apparently agree with Brooks. Today the country star announced new dates at The Wynn’s Encore Theatre.

The new additions include three dates for September (10-12), six for October (1-3, 22-24) and six for November (5-7, 19-21). Tickets go on sale Sunday, June 19 at 10 a.m. PDT. For more info, click here for The Wynn’s website.
