Greenbrier Classic Concerts

The inaugural Greenbrier Classic golf tournament at Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va., a new stop on the PGA tour’s FedExCup series, will include two concerts at a 50,000-capacity shed under construction in nearby Fairlea.

Greenbrier owner Jim Justice told the Register-Herald the concerts, featuring Reba McIntire and Rascal Flatts July 29, and Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley July 31, are open to all, not just tournament badge-holders.

“A lot of people came back to us, saying that they thought the concerts would be within the confines of The Greenbrier [and the golf tournament] and that they wouldn’t be invited,” Justice said. “We felt like the public wasn’t really dialed into the concerts. That’s not what we wanted at all.”

Instead, those who want to attend just the concerts have the option to buy single tickets at $69 for the first show and $79 for the second show, the paper said.
