Lofgren Eyes U.K. Run

Guitar virtuoso Nils Lofgren heads to the U.K. this fall for a series of shows featuring only him and an accompanist.

Lofgren has definitely carved out a unique career over the years. While still a teenager, Lofgren played piano and guitar on Neil Young’s 1970 album After The Gold Rush and appeared on Young’s Tonight’s The Night album and tour.

Lofgren has also enjoyed a successful solo career with his choir boy-like voice, deft guitar work and solid songwriting attracting fans for more than three decades. These days he’s more likely to be identified as a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, a position he’s held for more than 25 years. The upcoming U.K. tour marks Lofgren’s first excursion to the British Isles since Springsteen and E Street wrapped up their world tour last year.
