Reggae Death In Ivory Coast

Two died and dozens were injured in a stampede during a concert organized by reggae star Alpha Blondy to promote peace and unity in Bouake, Ivory Coast, June 12.

A witness said the crowd pushed forward to the only entrance to the stadium as the performer took the stage, crushing fans against the fences.

Red Cross workers reportedly treated 29 people at the scene and one person was taken to a nearby hospital.
