Buffett Enlists Friends To Aid Gulf

Jimmy Buffett has rounded up a few buddies to present a free concert on the Gulf Coast July 1.

The special Gulf Shores, Ala., beach concert to aid Gulf Coast residents affected by April’s oil spill will also feature Sonny Landreth, Zac Brown Band, Kenny Chesney, Jesse Winchester and Allen Toussaint and will air live on CMT beginning 8 p.m. EDT.

Even though the concert is a freebie, expect to dig into your pockets. A T-shirt specially designed for the event will be sold online as well as at the show and you can expect other opportunities to help.
