Today’s announcement comes the same week as the band’s latest album, The Five Ghosts, lands in stores. So you have three months to learn all the tunes.

Or maybe a little less than 90 days.  After all, the band has a few North American festival dates between now and then, including the July 16 and Aug. 7.

The tour begins in Rochester, N.Y., at the Water Street Music Hall Sept. 22, heads to Boston for a show at House Of Blues Sept. 23 and stops in New York City at Terminal 5 Sept. 24.

Other towns on the routing include Washington, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, Milwaukee and Minneapolis.

Fans have two presale packages to choose from. The “Stars Passenger Presale” includes a general admission ticket, a limited edition signed Stars poster, an “exclusive” Stars T-shirt, a download of the new album plus a souvenir lanyard and laminate and a pre-show meet-n-greet with the band.

Option No. 2, called the “Stars Fixed Presale,” includes a general admission ticket with minimal fees. Pony up a few more dollars and you’ll also get the album download.

Presales begin June 22, 10 a.m. EDT. Click here for more info.
