AEG Not Sued By Jackson
Joe Jackson has reportedly filed a complaint with the Medical Board of California – not a lawsuit, as has been widely reported.
It accuses AEG Live of failing to provide requested emergency medical equipment and a nurse to Dr. Conrad Murray before Michael Jackson’s June 25, 2009 death.
The medical board investigates complaints against physicians, and Murray’s actions as Michael Jackson’s physician fall under that category.
Media coverage, as with all things MJ, has been a bit vague around the details, often failing to differentiate between an agency complaint and a full-fledged lawsuit against the concert promoter.
So far, spokesmen for both parties are not commenting on the filing. But in recent weeks, the Jackson patriarch has also reportedly blaming MJ’s mother, Katherine, for the superstar’s death and referred to a contract between AEG and Murray, which was never signed by the doctor.
