The 21+ gig takes place Saturday, Aug. 7 at The Cubby Bear in Chicago. The show starts at 10 p.m., with time for fans to make the trek across The Windy City after Lollapalooza shuts down for the night.

The British indie rock band – which is composed of twins Gary and Ryan Jarman and their younger brother Ross, along with ex-The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr – will take the stage at Perry Farrell’s annual festival Sunday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m.

Lollapalooza takes place at Chicago’s Grant Park Aug. 6-8. This year’s eight stage event features Soundgarden, Green Day, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Phoenix, Social Distortion, MGMT, Spoon, Devo and many more.

After rocking Lollapalooza, the following night The Cribs head to Columbus, Ohio, to headline Lifestyle Communities Pavilion.

The Cribs will spend the rest of their summer playing festivals throughout Europe including T In The Park in the United Kingdom (July 11), Gurtenfestival in Switzerland (July 16), Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium (Aug. 20), Leeds Festival in the U.K. (Aug. 27) and Reading Festival in the U.K. (Aug. 28). The guys can also be found at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan (July 30).

In fall 2009 the band released its fourth studio album, Ignore the Ignorant.
