There will be plenty of memories even for the most history-challenged fans, what with Megadeth continuing its front-to-back performance of its 1990 release Rust In Peace. Slayer is also serving up an album-in-its-entirety, performing its 1990 disc Seasons In The Abyss.

And, in case you haven’t been keeping up, Anthrax recently welcomed Joey Belladonna’s return to the band, making this tour a classic metal outing to the umpteenth power.

The new leg begins in Dallas at Verizon Wireless Theatre Sept. 24, plays San Antonio at the AT&T Center Sept. 25 and hits Houston for a gig at the Verizon Wireless Theatre Sept. 26. Other stops include New Orleans, Orlando, Atlanta, Baltimore, Uniondale, N.Y., Milwaukee, Las Vegas and Universal City (Los Angeles).

A fan presale begins July 14 and the public onsale for most markets begins July 23. There will also be a limited amount of $10 tickets available in most markets.

Megadeth is also doing the IloveAllAccess.com thing for VIP offerings including priority venue access, meet and greets, parties, gifts and more. Meanwhile, Slayer fans purchasing tickets online will receive a free download of the live audio track “War Ensemble,” which is included on the band’s upcoming Live Intrusion DVD release.
