Cleaning Up Crisler Arena

Officials at the University of Michigan have approved a multimillion-dollar renovation for the school’s Crisler Arena.

The $20 million revamp will include a roof replacement, new seats in the lower bowl to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, new fire and alarm systems, and emergency lighting and upgrades to the electrical system, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The project is reportedly scheduled to wrap by winter 2012.
