Blues Guitarist Phillip Walker Dies
Phillip Walker, 73, a contemporary blues guitarist known for his 1959 single “Hello My Darling,” died of an apparent heart attack July 22.
Walker, known for his eclectic recordings, is a second cousin to Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and has performed with Lonseome Sundown, Roscoe Gordon, Clifton Chenier and Lonnie Brooks, among others.
