Taddy Porter Gonna Die With Slash
Taddy Porter was formed in 2007 in Stillwater, Okla., featuring brothers Doug (drums) and Kevin Jones (bass) along with Andy Brewer (lead vocal/guitar) and Joe Selby (lead guitar/backing vocals).
The band’s debut, self-titled album was released in June on Primary Wave Music. The single “Shake Me” has also been featured on Monday Night Football as well as the ABC Sitcom “Cougar Town.” The tunes “King Louie” and “Mean Bitch” were featured in the seventh season premiere of HBO’s “Entourage.” In June Taddy Porter was recognized as both Clear Channel’s “New Artist To Watch” and Gibson Guitars’ “Artist of the Month.”
Slash’s “We’re All Gonna Die” tour kicks off Aug. 29 in San Francisco and wraps up Oct. 2 in Seattle. Taddy Porter joins the tour Sept. 10 at Kool Haus in Toronto. The support gig concludes with a Sept. 23 show at Medina Entertainment Center in Minnesota.
Additional Slash/Taddy Porter dates include Terminal 5 in New York (Sept. 14), House of Blues Boston Presented By Foxwoods Resort Casino (Sept. 15), NorVa in Norfolk, Va. (Sept. 18) and Harrah’s Casino – Stir Concert Cove in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Tomorrow Taddy Porter hits the road in support of Saving Abel. The tour begins July 27 at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Ark., and concludes Sept. 2 at The Club at Tom, Dick and Harry’s in Green Bay, Wis. The trek also features We are the Fallen and American Bang.
