Kenny Edwards Desperately Needs Your Help
Edwards was a member of Linda Ronstadt’s 1960s band The Stone Poneys and has worked on several of her albums, including Heart Like A Wheel, Prisoner In Disguise and Hasten Down The Wind. Throughout the years Edwards worked with several artists, including Karla Bonoff, Warren Zevon, Emmylou Harris, Don Henley, Rita Coolidge, Stevie Nicks, Jennifer Warnes, Bonnie Raitt, Vince Gill and Andrew Gold.
Edwards suffers from an extreme form of cancer. In a letter seeking help, Edwards’ manager described the artist’s current condition as a “sudden life-changing illness.”
Right now Edwards is in Denver awaiting a medical airlift to Santa Barbara. Although a friend of Edwards has arranged transportation at a greatly reduced price, more money is needed. That’s where you come in.
Edwards needs to be in Santa Barbara by the end of this week and fans can donate by way of a PayPal button placed on his website. Just click here.
