She & Him Add Fall Headline Dates

She & Him features actress Zooey Deschanel on lead vocals/piano and singer-songwriter M.Ward on guitar.

The duo is touring in support of its sophomore album, Volume Two. Deschanel wrote 11 of the 13 tracks and Ward produced the album, which was released in March on Merge Records.

Volume Two has earned kudos from publications including the New York Times, which writes, “The new album proves again that she’s not a dabbler, just as it proves again that she and Mr. Ward, her producer, share similar ideals … It’s breezy but sturdy, impeccably styled.”

A limited edition 7” for the single “Thieves” is being released Aug. 31 along with the vinyl-only bonus track “I Knew It Would Happen This Way.”

After playing Coachella and Bonnaroo earlier this year, She & Him have a number of events lined up including the Twilight Concert Series at Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City (Aug. 26), LouFest at Central Field @ Forest Park in St. Louis (Aug. 29), Los Angeles Times Celebration of Food and Wine at Paramount Studios (Sept. 5) and Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco (Oct. 17).

Headline dates recently added include Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Ore. (Oct. 22), 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle (Oct. 23) and Orpheum in Vancouver (Oct. 24).

Fans can also catch the duo at Anchor Inn in Omaha (Aug. 28), Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Mo. (Aug. 30) and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 1).
