Furthur Extends Tour Further Into Fall

Furthur, the band featuring Grateful Dead alumni Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, keeps on truckin’ as it locks down a fall schedule filled with dates across the eastern half of the U.S.

The newly announced leg is a continuation of the band’s September road trip which takes them along the West Coast playing Oregon, Washington and California as well as stopping in Nevada and doing three nights at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre Sept. 24-26.

The new leg begins about two weeks after the Denver gigs, launching in Minneapolis at the Northrop Auditorium Nov. 8. Ames, Iowa, is next on the schedule with the band playing the town’s Stephens Auditorium Nov. 9 followed by a stop in St. Louis at the Chaifetz Arena Nov. 11.

Then it’s off to Chicago for two nights at the Windy City’s UUIC Pavilion Nov. 12-13. Cincinnati follows with the band playing the U.S. Bank Arena Nov. 14 and then onward to Reading, Pa., for a gig at the Sovereign Center Nov. 16, Baltimore at 1st Mariner Arena Nov. 17 and Worcester, Mass., at the DCU Center Nov. 19. Last stop is New York City where the band plays two nights at Madison Square Garden Nov. 20-21.
