BB With NKOTB In 2011?

There’s been plenty of talk during the past 24 hours about a Backstreet Boys / New Kids On The Block tour in the planning stages for 2011. Too bad no one will confirm or deny the reports.

In one of those items claiming to quote “a source close to the negotiations,” E! Online reports the two groups are close to inking a deal to share headline status on a tour that could begin as early as March of next year and that Live Nation is currently looking to add a third former Boy Band to lineup, quite possibly Boyz II Men. Guess an *NSYC reunion wasn’t on the table.

“The idea is to recreate the boy band phenomenon. It will be the ultimate ladies’ night out,” the source said, according to E! Online.

So far, no one has confirmed the tour will take place. But then, no one has denied it either.

However, it wouldn’t be the first time the groups have shared a stage. As E! Online points out, Backstreet Boys joined New Kids onstage at Radio City Music Hall in June.
