The new stretch of dates is called “The E. 1999 Eternal Tour,” as the Grammy award-winning group turns the clock back a few years to focus on its 1995 sophomore release E. 1999 Eternal, which honored the late rapper Eazy-E, who signed the band to his own label, Ruthless Records.

Backed by a full band, the tour begins in Boise at the Knitting Factory Concert House Sept. 22. Next is Reno’s Knitting Factory Sept. 23 followed by Salt Lake City at In The Venue Sept. 24.

Other cities on the club tour include Minneapolis, Denver, Detroit, Cleveland, Kansas City, New York, Washington, Atlanta, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, New Orleans, Dallas, Tulsa and Austin. Last stop on the newly announced itinerary is Albuquerque at the Sunshine Theatre Oct. 30.
