Dunn Joins Festival Republic

Live Nation promoter Jon Dunn has moved to Festival Republic, the company the U.S.-based global giant owns in partnership with Denis Desmond’s Gaiety Investments.

The move means Dunn more or less stays under the same umbrella as he’s previously booked some of the stages at Festival Republic’s Latitude and Big Chill festivals.

“I am thrilled to be joining the fantastic team of like-minded people at Festival Republic, and feel very fortunate that the continued support I require for the touring acts will be maintained by the LN team in Argyll Street,” he said in a statement announcing the move.

He described it as a fantastic opportunity to focus on fewer touring acts and book the best festivals, although he’ll continue to promote Arcade Fire, The National, M.I.A, White Lies, Paloma Faith, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Villagers and Wild Beasts under an LN banner.
