Kaye To Manage SMG’s MetroCentre

Gordon Kaye has been named executive director and GM at Rockford MetroCentre in Illinois, for which SMG recently secured a five-year management deal.

In his new position, Kaye will oversee bookings, F&B, marketing and sponsorships for the 8,000-capacity MetroCentre, the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs and the Davis Park festival grounds and amphitheatre.

Kaye, who’s been with SMG for seven years, has served as GM for the Reading Royals hockey club for six years.
