LN + IMAC = Paramount

The IMAC in Huntington, N.Y., is coming back in a big way.

Formerly known as the Inter-Media Arts Center, the 500-capacity venue shuttered June 2009. Now a group reportedly named Paramount Theater of Great Neck – composed of mostly Long Island investors – will partner with Live Nation to renovate the old theatre, which will be dubbed the Paramount.

The capacity will be increased to 1,600, but the investor group still needs approval from the Hunting Town zoning commission.
