Demolish The Sydney Entertainment Centre?

Sydney business leaders want the Sydney Entertainment Centre demolished to attract conventions away from Singapore, Beijing and Seoul.

The Sydney Business Chamber said that demolishing the SEC would create an extra 20,000 square metres of exhibition space in a multipurpose facility.

Promoters like Michael Chugg argued against the move, saying the 10,000-capacity SEC was the only major indoor venue in inner-city Sydney.
