Black Keys Schedule Changes
Due to a death in the family, The Black Keys, touring with The Whigs, has rescheduled the Sept. 9 show planned for Virginia’s Charlottesville Pavilion to Sept. 14.
All previously purchased tickets will be honored. Refunds are available at point of purchase through Sept. 13 at high noon if you can’t make it to the new date.
But changing a band’s touring schedule is often like playing with dominos where slightly tapping one piece causes others to fall. The Black Keys were originally scheduled to play The Orange Peel in Asheville, N.C., Sept. 14. Because that day is now slotted for Charlottesville, the band is moving the Asheville show to Sept. 16. All tickets purchased for Sept. 14 will be honored on the new date and refunds will be available up until Sept. 16 at 5 p.m. local time.
