Riggs To Manage Tuscaloosa Shed

An under-construction amphitheatre development in Tuscaloosa, Ala., has a new director with the hiring of Wendy Standeffer Riggs.

In her new role, Riggs will report to Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and oversee venue operations, according to the Tuscaloosa News, working in conjunction with Red Mountain Entertainment to book and promote the shed.

During her 28 years in the industry, Riggs has held management roles at venues including the city’s Bama Theatre, Horn Performing Arts Center in Las Vegas and Atlanta’s Fox Theatre and Cobb Energy Centre.
