Latin Grammy Noms Announced

Alejandro Sanz and Juan Luis Guerra are among the top nominees for this year’s Latin Grammy Awards scheduled to take place Nov. 11 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Sanz, Guerra, Mario Dromm of Mexican trio Camila and Jorge Drexler earned four nods each. Camila and Daddy Yankee picked up three nominations.

Sanz is up for album of the year and best male pop vocal album for Paraiso Express and record and song of the year for “Desde Cuando.”

Guerra is nominated for album of the year and best contemporary tropical album for A Son De Guerra and best tropical song and best short form music video for “Bachata En Fukuoka.”

Camila is up for album of the year and best pop album by a duo or group for Dejarte De Amor and record of the year for “Mientes.”

Daddy Yankee is vying for best urban music album for Mundial and two best urban song nominations for “Descontrol” and “Grito Mundial.”

The Latin Grammy Awards will be broadcast live by Univision.
