Warner Music Group announced Sept. 14 a new senior management team for Warner Bros. Records label group and the exit of Tom Whalley as CEO.

Rob Cavallo, currently WMG’s chief creative officer, will serve as chairman. Todd Moscowitz will serve as co-president and CEO, and Livia Tortella, GM of Atlantic Records, will serve as co-president and COO. Whalley, who served as chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Records since 2001, has decided to leave the company, according to a statement.

“Tom Whalley is one of this industry’s most accomplished executives and his contributions to WMG are enormous,” said WMG chief Lyor Cohen. Diarmuid Quinn, COO of Warner Bros. Records and Reprise, has decided he will be stepping down as well. The Warner Bros. Records label includes the Warner Bros., Asylum, Nonesuch, Reprise and Sire imprints.
