Fountains Of Wayne Dates Flow

It’s been three years since Fountains of Wayne released their last studio album, the acclaimed Traffic And Weather. A new album is scheduled to drop in early 2011, but fans can get a generous dose of new material on a short tour beginning at the end of this month.

The road trip begins Sept. 30 in San Diego at The Casbah, plays West Hollywood’s Troubadour Oct. 1 and stops at San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival Oct. 2.

Two days later FOW lands on the East Coast, playing Alexandria, Va., at The Birchmere Oct. 4-5; NYC’s Bowery Ballroom Oct. 7; Boston’s Paradise Oct. 8 and Pearl Street in Northampton, Mass., Oct. 9.

Last three dates on the current schedule are Oct. 12 in Pennsylvania at Sellersville Theatre; Oct. 13 in Pawtucket, R.I., at Met Café and Oct. 14 in Portland, Maine, at Port City Music Hall.
