Haggard Nixes Remaining September Shows
Illness has forced Merle Haggard to clear his remaining September dates from his concert calendar.
Published reports indicate Haggard is suffering from a chest infection. At this time there is no word as to whether the dates will be rescheduled. One venue – Virginia’s Charlottesville Pavilion, reports Haggard’s Sept. 22 show will not be rescheduled this season.
Also gone from the routing is tonight’s gig in Anderson, Ind., as well as shows in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Florence, Ind., Frederick, Md., Newport News, Va., the aforementioned Charlottesville appearance, Athens, Ga., and Mississippi towns Biloxi and Tunica.
