Rod Is Vegas Bound

Never one to do anything on a small scale, Rod Stewart has lined up eight, count ‘em, eight nights in Vegas at The Colosseum At Caesars Palace.

Presented by AEG Live and Caesars, Stewart plans to serve a generous portion of his own songbook as he presents his greatest hits from a career spanning five decades in a setting a bit more intimate than his usual arena shows.

Stewart’s Colosseum residency runs Nov. 6-7, 10, 14, 17-18 and 20-21.

“For some years now, AEG Live has been wanting me to do a residency show in Vegas,” Stewart said. “I decided it was time to give it a try but I thought ‘first, let’s try two weeks instead of two years though.’

“Who knows what this could lead to? I know that my band, background singers and I are going to enjoy performing in such an intimate setting and having the chance for the fans to be in close proximity while hearing all the hits.”

Tickets go on sale Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. Vegas time. For more information, click here for the AEG Live website and here for Caesars Palace.
