Black Label Society Postpones Gigs

The Black Label Society has been sidelined after a blood clotting condition in Zakk Wylde’s leg forces the band to take a couple of nights off from its Berzerkus tour.

Wylde was admitted to a hospital in Nebraska late yesterday afternoon where doctors diagnosed the blood-clotting problem. Wylde was first diagnosed with blood clots in 2009.

The sudden turn of events forced Black Label Society to postpone last night’s appearance in Omaha and tonight’s show in Clive, Iowa, at 7 Flags Event Center. At this time the band is expected to restart the tour Oct. 2 in Milwaukee at Eagles Ballroom.

The band issued a statement apologizing for the nixed gigs and promising it is doing everything possible to reschedule the shows. Meanwhile, refunds are available at points of purchase.
