Bullet For My Valentine’s Bassist Shuffle

Losing a bassist for a few days would be reason enough for most bands to shuffle the ol’ touring schedule. But Bullet For My Valentine isn’t changing a single date even though the band’s thumper will be gone for more than a week.

BFMV bassist Jason Jones has jumped off the band’s current tour, taking a break beginning Oct. 8 and running through Oct. 18 so that he can “attend to a family matter” according to the band’s website.

However, no dates have changed and Bullet For My Valentine rocks on, playing Toronto’s Sound Academy tonight, Cleveland’s Time Warner Cable Amphitheatre Saturday evening and the Town Hall in Buffalo, N.Y. Sunday night. Also appearing on the tour are Escape The Fate, Black Tide and Drive A.
