Warren Haynes Sets This Year’s Christmas Jam

Always a must-see event during the holiday season, Warren Haynes’ 22nd annual returns to Asheville, N.C., Dec. 11.

Haynes is bringing plenty of friends to this year’s party. Taking place at the Asheville Civic Center, the Allman Brothers Band / Gov’t Mule axeman welcomes the Steve Miller Band, Gregg Allman, Widespread Panic’s John Bell and John “JoJo” Hermann, Drive-By Truckers, Umphrey’s McGee and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

This year’s Christmas Jam also marks the debut of The Warren Haynes Band. Sounds like that stage is going to be mighty crowded. But then, the Jam is always for a good cause, having raised more than $1 million for Habitat For Humanity.

A two-day presale, including V.I.P. and hotel packages, begins Oct. 14 and the public onsale begins Oct. 23. This year’s V.I.P. offering includes one ticket to a private “Pre-Jam” at the Orange Peel featuring many of the artists appearing at the Christmas Jam; early entry to the Asheville Civic Center; a V.I.P. viewing area and entry to the Civic Center’s V.I.P. room.
