Jay-Z Depicted In Miami PD Ad?

A mural-type banner ad designed for the Miami Police Department’s website to encourage citizens to report gang activity depicted two of five “gangster” figures looking a lot like rapper Jay-Z Oct. 7.

The Miami Times News reported on the blunder Oct. 8 and posted older publicity photos of the performer that the “gangster” images allegedly were copied from.

The artwork for the PSA has since been removed from the PD’s website.

Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said the Jay-Z-like drawings were unintentionally done, but offered no details beyond that.
