We’re not talking about a cold or a case of the sniffles. Cockburn is suffering from Pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung and was diagnosed after being admitted to a hospital after returning from a personal trip to Bolivia, according to a message posted on the artist’s website. He is expected to make a full recovery.

All dates from Oct. 14-28 for the Maritime Provinces and Quebec are canceled.

“I’m very disappointed to have to cancel this tour and know how inconvenient it is to many but I’m just unable to perform in this condition,” Cockburn said. “I hope we will be able to reschedule all of the dates in the not too distant future. I’m looking forward to getting back to each of the cities and towns on the tour as soon as possible.”
