The New MySpace
MySpace has launched its redesign and the News Corp.-owned website has a whole different feel.
What “Saturday Night Live” recently called the Internet’s abandoned playground is now an aggregate site for all things entertainment.
When a user logs in, the welcome page displays entertainment content based upon the customer’s likes.
There are such things as “Topics,” which connects MySpace users to more than 20,000 entertainment pages like newspapers and MTV.
It is very music friendly, providing music video launches, a “My Stuff” tab and a recommendations feature, much like the “Like” of Facebook. The new MySpace is still in beta.
