Foxy Shazam Cancels Shows

Foxy Shazam has canceled a dozen dates on its upcoming co-headline tour with Free Energy.

No reason was given for the cancellation.

The dates in question take place Nov. 10 through Nov. 22. Although the Cincinnati-based band won’t be able to make it to the shows, fans will still get to see Free Energy rock out.

Foxy Shazam is still set to play with Free Energy tonight at Slim’s in San Francisco followed by Saturday’s gig at The Blank Club in San Jose, Calif.

In November the two bands hit up Paradise Rock Club in Boston (Nov. 23), Bowery Ballroom in New York (Nov. 24), Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, N.Y., (Nov. 26) and Theatre Of The Living Arts in Philadelphia (Nov. 27).

Free Energy joins Weezer on the road in December for its “Memories Tour” in Boston and New York. The trek features Weezer performing its self-titled 1994 album (better known as the “Blue Album”) and Pinkerton in their entirety over two nights of shows in select cities.

Foxy Shazam plays the Soundwave Festival in Australia in late February and early March.
