The “Humanity Thru Music” charity concert takes place Nov. 6 at the Musicians’ Institute in West Hollywood, Calif. Proceeds benefit Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization raising money to build a no-kill animal sanctuary, medical and educational center in Southern California.

The event is being hosted by iconic DJ Jim Ladd (aka the last free form rock DJ in America) of KLOS 99.5 FM. Roger Waters fans will recognize Ladd as the DJ featured on the bassist’s 1987 concept album Radio K.A.O.S.

Along with the Yoso concert, the event features a vegetarian “paw-sta” buffet (including $1 wine bars) and a silent auction. Supporters can bid on guitars signed by Joe Satriani, Rob Zombie, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Alice Cooper and Marky Ramone in addition to Hollywood Bowl tickets, signed sports memorabilia, dinner at Sugar Rock, a signed Star Wars collection with a bottle of Skywalker Ranch wine, and more.

A number of celebrities are showing their support by walking the green carpet including Wendy Dio, wife/manager of legendary heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio; “Lost” producer Paul Dini; and actor Tyler Mane.

General admission tickets are $50, VIP seating is priced at $100 and VIP backstage tickets will set you back $195.
