Voodoo Staying Put

The annual Voodoo Experience music festival in New Orleans won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Festival organizer Rehage Entertainment has signed a deal with the city to keep the event at City Park through 2019.

The agreement includes building a permanent home for Voodoo within the park, according to a statement.

“We’re very lucky to have such great partners in the entire City Park team,” founder and producer Steve Rehage said in the statement. “We look forward to … working together in creating a permanent home for Voodoo in the place where it all began 12 years ago.”
