Build Your Own Bon Jovi Concert

You don’t have to be in New York next week to enjoy Bon Jovi’s exclusive fan gig. Not when YouTube is streaming the show live. You can even request your favorite songs. Is life great or what?

The private show for fans takes place Nov. 10 at NYC’s Best Buy Theater (formerly known as Nokia Theatre @ Times Square). YouTube begins streaming the show at 8 p.m. EST that night. However, this isn’t your typical live concert stream.

That’s because the AEG Network Live-produced gig marks the first time YouTube has used its Moderator tool with a live concert. With Moderator, fans the world over can submit requests now up through Monday Nov. 8, either as text or in the shape of a video featuring your smiling mug asking for your favorite Bon Jovi tunes.

But making requests is only part of the fun. After you send your submissions via Moderator to the Bon Jovi YouTube channel, you and your fan brethren can vote on the selections with the requests gathering the most nods rising to the top.

Need we say this isn’t your only chance to see Bon Jovi? The boys return to the North America touring circuit when Bon Jovi launches its 2011 tour at Pittsburgh’s CONSOL Energy Center Feb. 11. Other stops include Toronto, Montreal, Raleigh, NYC, Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Uncasville, Chicago, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Vancouver.

Meanwhile, it’s time to begin thinking about which songs you want the band to perform Nov. 10. After you’ve mulled it over for a while, click here for Bon Jovi’s YouTube channel.

And while we’re talking about links, clicking here sends you to the Bon Jovi website.
