Dancing Queen Arrested

A woman at a recent Gogol Bordello show in Wisconsin may have had a little bit too much of the Halloween spirit, and was arrested after allegedly raising a ruckus with security.

According to police reports obtained by the Capital Times, the woman rushed past security during the Oct. 31 concert at the Capitol Theatre in attempts to gain entry to a restricted dancing area near the stage.

When security kicked her out of the area, she kept on dancing in the aisle, which was forbidden.

And when security confronted her again, things reportedly got ugly. The Times reported the concertgoer kicked one staff member and punched another before police arrived.

As she was being escorted out of the building, she allegedly told officers she “just wanted to dance” and was going to “keep on fighting” officers before requesting a refund of her $30 ticket.

The woman was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and resisting and obstructing arrest, police said.
