Gucci Mane Charges Dropped

Gucci Mane had another brush with the law recently when he was arrested by Atlanta police on multiple charges including obstruction of officers, reckless driving and interference with government property.

The charges were dropped the following day.

The rapper, whose real name is Radric Davis, was arrested Nov. 2 after an off-duty police officer reported a vehicle being driven recklessly. Responding officers reportedly saw the vehicle parked outside an auto body shop and interrupted Gucci Mane and another man in the midst of an argument.

Officers doused the rapper with pepper spray after he assaulted the other man. Police said Gucci Mane reportedly resisted arrest.
In court the following morning, a judge said the case was being dropped for “want of prosecution,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported, however, the judge also warned the charges could be refiled.

Gucci Mane’s arrest came less than six months from his release after serving several months for probation violations.
