Dashboard Confessional Targets The West

Dashboard Confessional adds Colorado, Utah, Washington, Oregon and California to its tour beginning later this month in Florida.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of its debut album, “The Swiss Army Romance” tour begins Nov. 27 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. However, when the tour was announced in early October, fans quickly noticed that it was pretty much East Coast and Midwest-centric with the most westerly dates taking place in Chicago Dec. 18-19.

But those geographical limitations are now history with today’s announcement of a new leg routed through several western states. New stops include Denver at the Summit Music Hall Jan. 10; Salt Lake City at In The Venue Jan. 11; Seattle at Neumos Jan. 13; Portland at Wonder Ballroom Jan. 14; San Francisco at The Regency Ballroom Jan. 15; Anaheim at House Of Blues Jan. 16; West Hollywood’s Troubadour Jan. 19-21 and San Diego’s House Of Blues Jan. 22.
