More Plant / Band Of Joy For U.S.

Fans wanting another dose of Robert Plant’s Band Of Joy are in luck as he slots a January-February run beginning in North Carolina.

Plant’s upcoming 2011 tour is being heralded as his first U.S. tour since Band Of Joy, co-produced by Buddy Miller, was released. Although the album was released in September, Plant and his Band Of Joy cohorts did hit U.S. venues in July, so the upcoming run is a second chance for fans.

Plant is bringing the same great musicians who appeared on the album and in concert, namely Patty Griffin, Darrell Scott, Byron House and Marco Giovino as well as co-producer Miller.
