Apocalyptica Postpones North America Tour
Fans of the cello-based Apocalyptica will have to wait a little longer to see the band perform in North America. The tour, originally scheduled to begin Nov. 25 in Orlando, is being rescheduled for March.
Without going into details, the band posted a message on its website saying the change of plans was caused by “issues with Perttu’s [Kivilaakso] health.”
From Apocalyptica.com:
“We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our fans and look forward to returning to health and touring in 2011.”
While fans anxiously wait for a revised routing a couple of venues have already announced new Apocalyptica dates. The Dec. 1 show originally scheduled for Cowboy’s Ranch in London, Ont., has been moved to March 9 and the Dec. 3 show planned for Ottawa’s Bronson Centre is now scheduled for March 11.
