Lady A’s Stage

Columbia County Commissioners have voted to name a pavilion and stage at a park in Evans, Ga., after some hometown heroes.

Evans Town Center Park’s new pavilion will be named after Lady Antebellum and the park’s new stage will be named for singer Josh Kelley. Two of Lady A’s members – Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley (Josh’s brother) – grew up in the area.

Officials are reportedly working with the artists to perform a charity concert when the facilities are completed next year. Lady Antebellum has already been honored with a street named after the band in nearby Augusta.
