Ronnie Spector To Brighten Up The Holidays

Branding your tour as the “Best Christmas Ever” may be a bit of a stretch. That is, unless you’re Ronnie Spector.

Hearing Spector’s smooth yet seductive voice singing holiday classics like “Frosty The Snowman,”“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and “Sleigh Ride” was almost a rite of passage for teenage boys of the past five decades. A holiday tour featuring Ms. Spector performing those tunes along with great Ronettes songs such as “Be My Baby” and “Walking In The Rain” is just the thing to lighten the mood and help you forget your troubles as 2010 winds down.

Ronnie Spector’s “Best Christmas Ever” tour launches in Lakewood, N.J. at The Strand Dec. 16. Other dates are New York at the B.B. King Blues Club; Minneapolis at the Dakota Jazz Club & Restaurant Dec. 19-20 and Uncasville, Conn., at the Mohegan Sun on Christmas day.
