More ‘Time Machine Tour’ For Rush

The Canadian power trio extends its “Time Machine Tour” with a slew of U.K. dates scheduled in May.

Alex Lifeson, Neil Peart and Geddy Lee restart the Time Machine in Ireland May 12 at Dublin’s O2, followed by United Kingdom stops at Glasgow’s S.E.C.C. May 14; Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena May 16; Manchester at the Evening News Arena May 19; Newcastle Upon Tyne at Metro Radio Arena May 21; Birmingham’s LG Arena May 22 and London’s O2 May 25.

The Dublin date marks the first time Rush has performed in Ireland.

Additional Europe dates are expected to be announced soon. So far, the band has only one date listed for the continent – May 29 in Germany, at Festhalle, Messe Frankfurt.

Rush is also cooking up more shows for North America between March and July, playing markets missed during the band’s 2010 outing.
