Robyn Returns To North America

Although her current North American tour ends this week, Sweden’s princess of pop isn’t wasting any time plotting a return trip. Robyn’s 2011 North American tour begins in Toronto during the last week of January.

But then, maybe she just likes to work. Her latest recording, Body Talk, dropped today, capping a three-disc effort that began with the release of Body Talk PT 1 in June followed by Body Talk PT 2 dropping in October.

Robyn’s 2011 North American tour begins Jan. 26 at Toronto’s Sound Academy followed by a night at Montreal’s Metropolis Jan. 27 and a gig at the Imperial Theatre in Quebec City Jan. 28. The singer then hits the eastern states, playing Portland, Maine, at the State Theatre Jan. 29; So. Burlington, Vt., at Higher Ground Jan. 31; Baltimore’s Ram’s Head Live Feb. 1; Philadelphia at the Electric Factory Feb. 3; Boston’s House Of Blues Feb. 4 and Radio City Music Hall Feb. 5.

Other cities on Robyn’s routing sheet include Cleveland (Feb. 7), Detroit (Feb. 9), Chicago (Feb. 11), Milwaukee (Feb. 12), Minneapolis (Feb. 13), Austin (Feb. 17), Dallas (Feb. 18) and Houston (Feb. 19).
