DMX Arrested Again

DMX was arrested Nov. 18 in Phoenix for allegedly violating his probation by using drugs.

He was being held without bail in the Maricopa County jail. Probation officials allege the performer, aka Earl Simmons, has been taking OxyContin and using cocaine, driving on a suspended license and has failed to submit to drug testing, make required payments or participate in counseling.

Glenn Allen, the rapper’s attorney, said his client “has been working very hard and will overcome this setback.”

Simmons is on probation for being convicted of aggravated assault after throwing a food tray at a jail guard and theft for using a phony name to skip paying a $7,500 hospital bill last year.
